CEADS project
Connecting Farm Machinery Data to the European Agricultural Data Space
The Common European Agricultural Data Space (CEADS) is a European initiative focused on improving agricultural data interoperability, accessibility, and utilization across the sector.
As part of the Hungarian consortium together with AgroVIR and the Cibus Hungaricus Foundation, we contribute to the development of solutions that enable agricultural machinery and farm data to become part of the wider European data ecosystem. The consortium aims to represent a whole data ecosystem combining machinery level, farm level and management data.
Our Contribution
Our focus within CEADS is the collection and integration of field operation and machinery data.
Building on our expertise in ISOBUS communication and agricultural data exchange, we are developing methods for transferring standardized machine data into the CEADS cloud infrastructure.
This includes:
- Collection of machinery data using ISOBUS-based telemetry
- Harmonization of operational and telematics data
- Standardized data exchange through CEADS interfaces
- Secure machine-to-cloud data communication
- Creation of reusable datasets for analytics and decision support
- Integration of ISOBUS, diagnostics, and operational data into a unified format (IsoXML Plus)
- Machine-to-Cloud (M2C) communication with the CEADS data infrastructure

The project's vision is to create a seamless flow of information from agricultural machinery to data-driven decision support systems.
By combining standardized machine telemetry, farm operational data, and management data, our consortium aims to improve the way agricultural data is collected, shared, and transformed into practical value for farmers and agricultural professionals.
